Zinc Oxide

Zinc is a naturally occurring mineral with anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to relieve some of the redness and irritation associated with mild to moderate acne. Zinc oxide can also help with regulating oil production and has natural antibacterial properties.

Sulphur natural pimple treatment

Sulphur is another natural mineral that assists with clearing skin prone to acne. Sulphur has antimicrobial properties, helping to reduce the bacteria that cause acne. It works in a similar way to other well know acne fighting ingredients – benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid – only sulphur is much gentler to skin. Sulphur can help to dry out and absorb excess oil that contributes to acne breakouts. It also helps to exfoliate dead surface skin cells to keep your pores clean. Sulphur makes an ideal spot treatment to dry up breakouts ASAP. Together, zinc and sulphur may help to improve the appearance of surface acne scars.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3)

Pimple POWder contains 10% Niacinamide. Niacinamide is well known for its ability to control shine and regulate oil (sebum) production in skin. It’s also anti-inflammatory, improves uneven skin tone, assists with fading hyperpigmentation and helps to support a healthier skin barrier function. Niacinamide is also being studied for it’s ability to protect skin from UV damage and oxidative stress (free radical damage).

Sandalwood powder

We use pure Sandalwood album heartwood sourced from Western Australia. Sandalwood album has a long history of use for healing of body and mind. Naturally anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial, helping to protect and nourish the skin. In Ayurvedic Indian medicine, Sandalwood powder is seen as having a cooling and calming effect. Making a paste from powdered Sandalwood bark and applied to pimples is a beauty hack thousands of years old!

Larch arabinogalactan (Galactoarabinan)

Larch arabinogalactan is a prebiotic extracted from the bark of larch trees using an eco-friendly hot water extraction process. A prebiotic is the term used to describe substances that are used by beneficial bacteria as a food source. Larch arabinogalactan has skin soothing properties that help to reduce redness and improves skin hydration by preventing moisture loss.

How to use Pimple POWder acne sulphur treatment

Use the provided fan brush to gently brush a fine layer of Pimple POWder over problem areas. 

For occasional pimple outbreaks: apply powder directly to pimples to help dry them up faster.

For recurring pimples/acne: brush over the problem areas morning and evening for 2-4 weeks and then 2-3 nights per week to help prevent further breakouts. 

How long does it take to see results with acne sulphur 

Pimples take longer than a few days to form underneath the surface of your skin, so it’s going to take a few weeks to see best results using Pimple POWder every day. Please allow 2-4 weeks to see best results using acne sulphur treatment.
